L. Brent Bozell III

Founder and President Emeritus

L. Brent Bozell III is one of the most outspoken and effective national leaders in the conservative movement. A lecturer, syndicated columnist, television commentator, marketer, author, publisher, and activist, Bozell has spent decades shaping the media and political landscape.

In 1987, Bozell founded the Media Research Center, which has since grown into the largest media watchdog organization in America. Under his leadership, the MRC established the world’s largest TV news video archive and launched influential platforms, including NewsBusters, MRC Business, MRC Culture, MRCTV, MRC Latino, and Free Speech America. Thanks to its relentless outreach, MRC content reaches over 500 million impressions weekly. After 38 years, Bozell has stepped down as President and now serves as President Emeritus.

In 2010, Bozell founded ForAmerica, a grassroots organization dedicated to restoring America’s founding principles. It has grown to over 7 million Facebook followers, boasting the most engaged social media army in the conservative movement, and often plays a critical role in shaping the online political conversation. He also founded the Parents Television Council in 1998 and the Conservative Victory Committee PAC in 1987. Before founding the MRC, Bozell served as the finance director and later as the president of the National Conservative Political Action Committee and the National Conservative Foundation.
