A new CNN documentary traces the “activation” of Christian nationalists in the United States back to the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, suggesting that Kirk’s message — and his subsequent murder — had “radicalized” American Christians into believing that they are being “persecuted.”
