MRC Fall Intern Thank You

Dear MRC supporters,

As the fall class of interns at the Media Research Center, we are grateful for your kind support of the MRC internship program. You are not only investing in us as individuals but also empowering the future of fair and honest journalism.

We find ourselves in a unique position as conservative students in a “Gen-Z” world. College campuses, once hubs of intellectual diversity, have sadly become hotbeds of leftist indoctrination. With your support and the guidance of the MRC, we have found an “unwoke” haven, a place where our principles are nurtured, our perspectives validated, and our voices amplified. The MRC has become our guiding light, offering us the tools, mentorship, and knowledge to study and recognize the pervasive bias in today’s media and overcome it with ethical and honest communication.

The hands-on training, the exposure to influential conservative thinkers, and the opportunity to directly contribute to MRC in fighting against Big Tech censorship and media bias have molded us into informed, critical thinkers ready to make a lasting impact wherever our paths may take us. In addition to our daily responsibilities at MRC, we partook in training sessions and workshops at conservative institutions such as The Heritage Foundation, Leadership Institute, and Hillsdale College. We also visited the Fox News studios, George Washington’s Mount Vernon, and the U.S. Capitol, where we saw the U.S. Senate gallery while in session.

Since the internship program launched in 1992, more than 500 students have assisted MRC in fighting tooth and nail to expose and neutralize the corrupt news media, replacing deceit and propaganda with truth and facts. When MRC started, 89% believed the news; now 9% do. As Sean Hannity said, “The MRC has helped pave the way for the growth of an alternative media.” As we move into the next chapter of our lives, we embrace the responsibility to guide the next generation toward appreciating the nobility of America with respect for our flag, founding, and Constitution. Our internship has invigorated us to champion conservatism and combat the lies of the left, and thanks to your support and the MRC, we have the tools to do it.

Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving!
