On June 18, only four days after House GOP Whip Steve Scalise was shot and seriously wounded at a Congressional baseball game practice, Reid attacked Republicans, “Why now are Republicans attempting to make themselves the victims when we saw death threats on members of Congress for passing universal health bills? There is a record here.”
