As the year comes to a close, I want to thank you for what you have made possible.

For 38 years, the Media Research Center has taken on media bias when others would not. We documented it when it was dismissed. We proved it with facts, patterns, and persistence. Because supporters like you stood with us, that work reshaped how Americans see the press.

In 2025, the results spoke for themselves. We helped cut off taxpayer funding to PBS and NPR. We exposed and rolled back Biden-era censorship. Our experts appeared nearly 700 times on national television. Our videos surpassed one billion views. Our reporting generated billions of online impressions. We closed the year by exposing the worst "fact" checks of 2025 and documenting the rhetoric coming from shows like The View that would never be tolerated if aimed at the Left.

That work reaches the highest levels. President Trump routinely uses MRC research and data to call out and mock the media to their faces, using their own words and our numbers against them. When the media are embarrassed publicly, it is often because MRC already did the homework.

The year ahead will bring more pressure, not less. With the 2026 midterms approaching and America’s 250th anniversary on the horizon, the incentive to distort and manipulate will only grow. MRC is prepared for that fight, but preparation requires resources.

Ronald Reagan warned that "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." Our role is to arm Americans with the truth so they can defend it.
