The Watchdog with David Bozell
The media just can’t root for the home team. Their steroid‑infused TDS and anti‑Americanism won’t allow it.
President Trump set an 8 p.m. Tuesday deadline for Iran to stand down and open the Strait of Hormuz, or he would blast their power plants and bridges “back into the Stone Age.”
A ceasefire was struck. No nuclear bombs fell.
Until that moment, the media had shrieked “war crimes.” A retired general on CNN claimed any strike would put America “straight into the territory of war crimes.” MS NOW’s Margaret Donovan called it a “per se war crime” and “indiscriminate killing” of civilians. Morning Joe’s Jonathan Lemire branded it “genocidal,” warned America would become “the villain,” and tied Trump’s words to “monsters of history” like Putin and Kim Jong‑un. CNN’s Kim Dozier warned the operation risked violating the “Geneva Conventions.”
Then they pivoted to their sophomoric refrain: TACO — “Trump Always Chickens Out.” CNN’s Erin Burnett insisted Trump “makes giant threats he does not follow through on.”
Dead quiet on Iran deliberately targeting civilians in Israel, the UAE, and beyond. The Iranians took Trump seriously, ringing targets with women and children as human shields. The Left and their media allies are the appeasers with zero spine, yet they project weakness onto the one man Iran actually feared. What Trump executed was negotiation, the Art of the Deal.
The media want it both ways. No matter what President Trump does, they won’t let him win — because they see that as their duty. And our latest Google News report shows the same pattern in what gets highlighted.
If Democrats catch a midterm tailwind, they’d try to hang that “war crimes” label on Trump and run another impeachment circus, and the media would cheer every step.
That’s why your support for the MRC is vital: to expose this propaganda and stand with the home team in the fight against the media’s seditious agenda.
Take it easy,
David Bozell
