The Watchdog with David Bozell
And the winner of the Pulitzer goes to…
Not the Washington Times. Not the New York Post. Not The Daily Caller. Not The Federalist.
But the usual suspects cleaned up.
Monday’s Pulitzer Prizes turned Trump‑attacking into a trophy sport — the narrative practically swept the awards. The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, AP, and Reuters were all there, patting each other on the back.
That’s exactly why the MRC created the Bulldog Awards — to honor conservative voices the Pulitzers will never touch. The ones who tell the truth and refuse to bend to the progressive herd mentality that defines today’s media.
And yesterday on The Dana Show, I talked with Bulldog winner Dana Loesch about the award she earned as Outstanding Radio Host. She’s principled, she brings the receipts, and she’s a terrific host who delivers every single day.
Now, for the rest of this year’s 5th annual Bulldog Award winners:
At the top of the list: Patrick J. Buchanan, recipient of our Lifetime Achievement Award. Six decades shaping American conservatism. Nixon speechwriter. Syndicated columnist. A defining presence on The McLaughlin Group and CNN’s Crossfire. Buchanan helped build the very movement the media still try to silence.
We also honored standout work from Morning Wire, Stephen L. Miller, Douglas Murray, Nick Minock, Jennie Taer, and Shermichael Singleton across podcasting, commentary, investigative reporting, and more.
You can read the full list of winners and their stories here.
While the Pulitzers reward activism and ideological bias dressed up as journalism, we recognize independent, fearless figures committed to informing the public rather than manipulating it.
Thank you for supporting the MRC as we honor the truth‑tellers.
Take it easy,
David Bozell
