In its continued sky-is-falling coverage of the economy and job market, ABC’s “Good Morning America” on January 17 warned that most Americans are fearing job cuts and offered helpful tips on how to “recession-proof” yourself.

“[C]ountless Americans” are worried that their jobs might be at risk, host Robin Roberts said, teasing a man-on-the-street montage of four ~~economy experts~~ random people who said they were worried about the economy.

Leave it to MSNBC to help unions bash business and bosses.

Anchor David Shuster actually outdid the union’s “My Bad Boss” contest with a comment about one pregnant employee putting “placenta” on pizza because her boss wouldn’t let her go to the hospital.

Shuster welcomed Working America, an arm of the AFL-CIO that actively promotes union ideals in non-union workplaces, which hosted the contest as part of its campaign against “vicious employers,” according to Shuster.

ABC's Sawyer: 'We're Working Ourselves to Death'

“We’re working ourselves to death,” Diane Sawyer concluded from a new University of California study on blood pressure and work. But the “Good Morning America” host left out some key information in her August 29 interview with a cardiologist.

“This is really something to show finally that there is a parallel” between high blood pressure and hours spent at work, Sawyer said as she talked with New York Presbyterian Hospital cardiologist Lori Mosca.
