Frances Floresca

External Affairs Manager

Frances Floresca is the External Affairs Manager for MRC Free Speech America. Before MRC, she has worked for Citizens Against Government Waste, Independent Women’s Forum, and Nevada Policy Research Institute, as well as a freelance reporter, communications specialist, and policy analyst for outlets and organizations including Herzog Foundation’s The Lion, National School Choice Awareness Foundation, the Daily Caller, and The Branch Media.

 

She enjoys covering stories from unique angles often overlooked by the mainstream media, and she has interviewed conservative leaders including PragerU CEO Marissa Streit, Moms for Liberty founder Tiffany Justice, school choice advocate Corey DeAngelis, and former Department of Education press secretary Angela Morabito. 

 

Frances has been a guest on numerous radio, podcast, and television programs including on Fox News Radio, One America News Network, Real America’s Voice, Salem News Channel, the Dennis Prager Show, and local outlets nationwide. Her columns have also appeared in the Washington Examiner, Townhall, Deseret News, the Daily Signal, Real Clear Education, and the Daily Wire. 

 

Across the country, Frances has testified before state legislatures on free speech, school choice, parental rights, and regulatory reform. She has also played a key role in building coalitions to advance legislation and policy ideas. 

 

Frances was invited as a guest to the White House in 2020 when Donald Trump spoke about regulatory reform during the COVID-19 pandemic, and her work has been cited in the Republican Study Committee’s budget proposal to Congress. 

 

In her spare time, Frances does pageantry and has participated in the Miss USA, Miss Mission USA, Universe United Mrs systems advocating for school choice, military families, and parental rights. She is also a classically trained singer and can sing in over 40 languages. But most importantly she is the wife to a soldier in the United States Army and mother to a feisty toddler.
