For the third time, an assassin came far too close to murdering President Trump. Once again, the attacker was a radicalized left-winger.

Would-be assassin Cole Allen’s manifesto read like it was copied straight from a network news anchor’s teleprompter: “I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.”

Allen didn’t invent that poison — he absorbed it from years of nonstop demonization by ABC, CBS, NBC, The New York Times, and their digital allies. They’ve branded Trump “Hitler,” a “fascist,” and an existential “threat to democracy.” The elitist media aren’t just reporting the news. Their inflammatory language doesn’t stay on television or in newsprint — it inspires in the worst kind of way. And at times, it ends in bloodshed — and when it doesn’t, it comes frighteningly close.
