Live Action Exposes Planned Parenthood – Will Media Note?

Pro-life advocacy group announces ‘Planned Parenthood Exposed’ campaign.

It seems like prime media bait: a group accusing a taxpayer funded organization of horrors from racism to sex trafficking. Except that the story is centered on abortion – and the accused is Planned Parenthood.

Pro-life advocacy group Live Action has released an  investigative report and video compiling “shocking activity” that occurs within Planned Parenthood’s abortion clinics. As part of a Planned Parenthood Exposed campaign, Live Action asked Americans to sign a petition to halt the $500 million per year in taxpayer money that funds Planned Parenthood. Members of Congress received copies of the report on May 28, according to the press release. Continues after video.

In the investigative video and report, Live Action accused and documented Planned Parenthood aiding in child sexual abuse, racism, deceptive and manipulative counseling, sex trafficking, false advertising and fraud, as well as sex selective abortion.

“Out of the pockets of taxpayers, and upon the broken bodies of pre-born children, Planned Parenthood has built an abortion empire masked in the moderate façade of a mainstream medical provider,” the report charged.

Calling Planned Parenthood a “negligent and untrustworthy caretaker of our nation’s women and children,” the report continued, “There is no justification, excepting the most venal and cynical moves possible, to force taxpayers to fund such an organization.” Continues after video.

Live Action President Lila Rose called for suspension of medical licenses and investigations of facilities with documented abuses, subpoena of ID-redacted medical records for underage patients, and termination of government funding of Planned Parenthood.

The organization most likely can’t rely on the media to spread its message. In the past, Live Action has slammed the media for lack of coverage on abortion issues from the March for Life to abortionist Kermit Gosnell – and even in relation to the billion-dollar king of abortion.
