Evergreen Gore's New TV Ad Is Holocaustic
Even the liberal media challenged Al Gore in 1997, when he claimed there was “no controlling legal authority” that he had violated federal campaign solicitation laws, despite a federal statute to the contrary.
Gore now claims a “consensus” of all controlling scientific authority about man-made global warming, despite the 400 world-class scientists who have publicly stated they strongly disagree.
Gore is topping it off with a new 300 million dollar ad campaign comparing the urgency of stopping the “global climate crisis” with stopping Hitler. You don't have to be Jewish to find that over the top.
The first ad from the campaign, narrated by Oscar-nominated actor William H. Macy, shows footage of Americans “storming the beaches of
How's that for proportionality? It's a wonder
If you're so inclined, you can hold your breath and reduce carbon dioxide levels while waiting for the liberal media to challenge Gore's alarmist analogies.
If pro-lifers ran a similar ad calling for action to stop the abortion holocaust of 1.3 million babies each year, the CO2 emitted by the media would turn Earth into a global microwave. That is, if Gore and company are correct that carbon dioxide, as a byproduct of burning fossil fuel, is causing a dangerous and sustained increase in global temperature.
In December 2007, the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works (Minority) released a report titled: “Over 400 Prominent Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming Claims in 2007.” The scientists are experts in the fields of “climatology; geology; biology; glaciology; biogeography; meteorology; oceanography; economics; chemistry; mathematics; environmental sciences; engineering; physics and paleoclimatology. Some of those profiled “have won Nobel Prizes in their field of expertise, and many shared a portion of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Nobel Peace Prize with Gore.”
The report includes comments from:
Climate data analyst Stephen McIntyre of ClimateAudit.org, one of the individuals responsible for debunking the infamous “Hockey Stick” temperature graph, exposed a NASA temperature data error in 2007 which led to 1934 -- not the previously hyped 1998 -- being declared the hottest in U.S. history since records began. Revised NASA temperature data now reveals four of the top ten hottest years in the
Geologist/Geochemist Dr. Tom V. Segalstad, a professor and head of the Geological Museum at the University of Oslo and formerly an expert reviewer with the UN (IPCC) says: “It is a search for a mythical CO2 sink to explain an immeasurable CO2 lifetime to fit a hypothetical CO2 computer model that purports to show that an impossible amount of fossil fuel burning is heating the atmosphere. It is all a fiction.”
MIT Climate Scientist Dr. Richard Lindzen, former UN IPCC lead author and reviewer and an Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology, Dept. of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, called fears of man-made global warming “silly” in a January 31, 2007 CNN interview. “I think it's mainly just like little kids locking themselves in dark closets to see how much they can scare each other and themselves,” Lindzen said. On January 14, 2007 Lindzen told the Weather Channel, “Nobody's arguing that man has zero impact on the climate. But the question is can you distinguish it from all the other stuff going on? And I think the answer is still no.”
Canadian climatologist Dr. Timothy Ball, formerly of the University of Winnipeg, who earned his PhD from the University of London, called fears of man-made global warming “the greatest deception in the history of science” in a February 5, 2007 op-ed in Canada Free Press. “Now, any scientist who dares to question the prevailing wisdom is marginalized and called a skeptic, when in fact they are simply being good scientists. This has reached frightening levels with these scientists now being called climate change denier with all the holocaust connotations of that word.”
As quoted by Tom Bethell (The Politically Incorrect Guide to Science, Regnery Publishing, Inc. 2005 p.p. 13-14), writer and filmmaker Michael Crichton warned students at Caltech about this tactic:
Consensus science is an extremely pernicious development that ought to be stopped cold in its tracks. Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled. Whenever you hear the consensus of scientists agrees on something or other, reach for your wallet, because you're being had.”
Crichton compares suppressing man-made global warming critics to suppressing opponents of eugenics: “Those who opposed the theory were shouted down and called reactionary, blind to reality, or just plain ignorant. But in hindsight, what is surprising is that so few people objected.” Michael Crichton, “Why Politicized Science is Dangerous.”
Gore declares: “We face a true planetary emergency. The climate crisis is not a political issue; it is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity. … It is the most dangerous challenge we've ever faced, but it is also the greatest opportunity we have had to make changes.”
Since Gore has no scientific degrees, it makes sense to add moral and spiritual hype. His credentials deficit and his greening bank account from book sales, movie royalties, and speeches should call his credibility into question. Gore is “teaming with a legendary venture capitalist and bigtime moneyman to make over the $6 trillion global energy business,” writes Matthew Vadum, “Al Gore Responds to CRC, Denies Global Warming is His Meal Ticket,
But the media are silent as Al's new campaign conjures up Holocaust images urging us to storm the beaches of industry, businesses, homes, trains, planes and automobiles to stop the “evils” of too much CO2.
Before you enlist in Al's fossil fuel/CO2 busting army, consider this:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Web site states: “Mars, with its mountains, valleys, polar ice caps, dry river beds, atmosphere, and relatively moderate climate, is more like Earth than any other body in our solar system. Many scientists believe Mars holds a key to answering questions about the geologic and climatic history of the Earth.”
“Scientists from NASA say that Mars has warmed by about 0.5C since the 1970s. This is similar to the warming experienced on Earth over approximately the same period. Since there is no known life on Mars it suggests rapid changes in planetary climates could be natural phenomena.” [Emphasis added.]
In other words, atmospheric warming happens. You might want to remind Al and his green army that there aren't any Martians driving “gas guzzling” SUVs heating up the planet.
But this time, he'll probably find some contrary controlling legal authority.
